Goal of the master thesis is to carry out evaluation of residents’ living quality at a level of Lithuanian counties. First part of the thesis analyzes theoretical aspects of living quality and its evaluation. In the second part of the thesis statistical rates of living quality evaluation have been analyzed, in accordance with theoretical basis of living quality research at a level of Lithuania counties. Third part presents comparative analysis of smaller indexes covered by the index, in accordance with methodology of index counting presented in the second part, at a level of counties. After analyzing living quality in Lithuanian counties, it was found that the best material conditions are in Marijampolė county, health – in Klaipėda, education – in Vilnius, environment quality – in Tauragė and Šiauliai, and culture development – in Vilnius. General living quality has been best evaluated in Vilnius. |
