The aim of this work – to explore, the college community, opinion about quality of higher education, in colleges, after transition of the ECTS system. In Europe is widely speaking about the higher education paradigm change, which focuses on approach to studies of higher education change. Changing this paradigm one of the key concepts is student-oriented teaching. European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is one of the means of enacting a different approach to studying and credits. It aims to improve co-operation between both institutions of higher education, and the institutions themselves. ECTS facilitates to provide information about all the studies programs and set of common principles for the recognition of academic performance in any study context (Markevičienė, Račkauskas, 2011). |
