The main aim is to suggest usability expert system to choose and evaluate usability features for different types of website based on users’ expectations. The main tasks are: to analyse nonfictions about websites usability, characterize usability features, methods and types of websites, suggest websites usability evaluation module, integrated to websites design projects, to do empirical research to find essential characteristics for different types of websites and their usage. Writing the paper and analyzing were used various methods, such as data analysis, synthesis, generalization method and quantitative analysis. Writing the paper were realized all main tasks written above. Suggesting the project of the expert system were used graphical modelling methods: designed processes between clients, designers and expert system‘s, suggested expert system model. Usability expert system is a product that computerizes usability evaluation processes: it helps to select features for different types of websites, according to users’ expectations. This expert system could be as practical tool characterising website’s functions and design with clients for IT consultants. During empirical research were founded essential characteristics for three different types of websites: information, e-commerce and education. That features could be included in usability expert system. The length of this paper is 62 pages; there are 34 pictures and 11 tables in this Graduation paper. |
