Abstract [eng] Every person has its own inner nature, which is formed by experience, no good ideas and feelings, but is not controlled by them. One of the main things in a human life is to reveal and be guided by them. The personality depends on this, as it shows how the personality is acting and achieving its life goals (Kuzmickas, 2001). Sport is a complicated phenomenon, which educates values and forms value orientation. Theoretical insights suggest, that there are not enough scientific researches analysing wrestling and karate sport influence on the value orientation of athletes, the educational environment effect of sports clubs on education of the personality. The function of duel sports is to convey the athletes not only knowledge, but also orientate them to spiritual values, which will help them to find the beauty of nature and human behavior, the meaning of creative activity. Research object is the projection of value orientation for athletes. The aim of the research is to theoretically justify and empirically analyse the effect of dual sports on the value orientations of wrestlers and karate athletes by justifying their expression peculiarities. The methods of the research – theoretical: interpretation and summary of the content analysis of scientific literature, internet sources; empirical: questionnaire survey, comparative analysis of expression characteristics of the value orientations on wrestlers and karate athletes. The results show that the wrestlers tend to reach for career, while karate athletes value the sport as a lifestyle and not a pursuit of maximum sport performance. Karate sport mindedly focuses on human inner powers and education of value orientations.
