Abstract [eng] Enterprise competitiveness is a multifaceted phenomenon with more than one definition, a discussion on the competitiveness of the factors contributing to the evaluation and indicators. Companies seeking to increase and sustain its competitiveness there is a need to change and adapt to new environment. Lithuania joined the European Union, the country was faced better trading with other EU countries under conditions of structural support. The object of the paper - improving the competitiveness of companies within the European Union Structural Funds. The purpose of the paper - analyze and assess a company's competitiveness within the European Union Structural Funds. Objectives of the paper: • Exclude the theoretical aspects of the concept of enterprise competitiveness, the competitive factors that will impact on the support formed the theoretical model for improving the competitiveness and conducted an empirical study; • Evaluate the European Union's support for and potential impact on business • Develop opportunities for enhancing the competitiveness of companies within the European Union Structural Funds for the evaluation of the theoretical model; • Evaluate the furniture manufacturing sector compared with other sectors of business opportunities through improving the competitiveness of EU support According to the Lithuanian and foreign researchers, the model has been developed to improve the competitiveness of enterprises .. This model shows the factors by which to assess the competitiveness and its impact. It also revealed the change in the furniture business competitiveness through EU Structural Funds.The structure and largeness of work.
