SUMMARY In the processes of globalization, the information technology growth is inevitable. Information technology infrastructure is favorable of the main conditions to develop e-Commerce. In now days e-Commerce becomes one of the fast - popular business forms. For a small country as Lithuania, with a small market, it could be a breakthrough in one of the directions. It is an opportunity to reach the whole world markets. Object of this work is - development of e - Commerce opportunities in Lithuania. The main following tasks are: to analyze the theories for e-Commerce topics, strategic analysis and its instruments which allow to assess development of electronic commerce opportunities; to assess the dynamics of e-Commerce development in Lithuania; to define the development of e - Commerce opportunities and development prospects for the future. The main results of the investigation are: Lithuania users are actively using the internet, they are using some kinds of electronical services and electronic shops. Respondents are passive only with electronic auctions. On the strenght of respondents opinion it can be consluded that electronical services quality in Lithuania are not always high. The main deficiencies are insufficient supply and lack of information about the electronic services, complex and not informative sites structure, cumbersome method of payment uncertainty. The main disadvantage of electronic shops is no opportunities for touching the product. The main advantage of e - Commerce is the opportunity to buy cheaply. Therefore, to ensure the development of electronic commerce, the companies have engaged in: creating the opportunities for consumers in communication, efficient management of the business, create delivery reliable channels, to provide the greatest possible freedom of choice, to provide regular updates to the site by creating unique, invest in their employees further training, organizing support for specific target groups, to offer the multilingual web site for the evaluation of language cross-cultural differences. |
