Abstract [eng] It can be stated that collaboration between students and professors as a factor which has influence to the quality of the study, a lot of attention in researches are not designate. Researchers give the biggest attention for aspects such as the learning process, methods, the assurance of needs for students, studies compliance with the quality requirements and etc. Because of this, it is purposeful to go deeper into the process of collaboration between students and professors which has a great impact on the quality of studies. The problem of the research is concretized by these questions – Whether collaboration between students and professors has an impact on the improvement of the quality of studies? What are the main factors which affect the expression of the collaboration between students and professors in the learning process? The object of the research – collaboration between students and professors. The purpose of the research – to substantiate theoretically and empirically how collaboration between students and professors affects the quality of studies. The methodology of the research and methods. The research is based on the humanistic philosophy, the philosophy of pragmatism, the provisions of the philosophy of constructivism, the provisions of the philosophy of global quality. The research was conducted in March – April 2017 in Šiauliai university. The quantitative (questionnaire, N=122) and qualitative (a semi-structured interview, N=12) researches were carried out.
