Abstract [eng] 83 pages, 5 pictures, 25 tables, 88 references. The main purpose of this work is to determine the influence of women's satisfaction with the work-life balance on burnout, with mediating effect of work stress and moderating effect of different generations and the stereotype threat. The work consists of six parts: analysis of scientific literature, research methodology, research and its results, conclusions and proposals. An analysis of satisfaction with work-life balance was performed, and it was found that the balance occurs when work and leisure times are compatible, and satisfaction with it is achieved when the individual likes the balance between them. Work stress is defined as a negative state leading to burnout, caused by stressors. Examining the stereotypes of women, it was found that women in business are negatively stereotyped. The main three generation groups in Lithuania were found and their features were highlighted. A quantitative study of 203 respondents was carried out. The aim of the study was to empirically research the burnout experienced by women with the effect of stress, generations, stereotype threat and satisfaction with the work-life balance. Regression analysis was performed, research model 10 and Andrew F. Hayes methodology Process SPSS macro was used for mediation and moderation. Relationships between satisfaction with the work-life balance and burnout, a mediating role of work stress and the influence of generation as a moderator in the relationship between satisfaction with the work-life balance and burnout was found. In the author's opinion, the results of this work are useful for further research in this area and for companies seeking to manage employee stress and burnout. One of the recommendations is the introduction of mentoring programs, where representatives of the younger generation could share their experience with representatives of other generations on how to achieve satisfaction with work-life balance.
