Abstract [eng] This master’s thesis examines management decisions aimed at implementing sustainable development goals in preschool education institutions. The work consists of three parts. The first part discusses the concept of management decisions, their classification, decision-making processes, and stages. It analyses the concept of sustainable development, its goals, and their impact on organizational management, as well as their implementation within the management processes of preschool institutions. Additionally, it explores which decisions most effectively contribute to achieving these goals in the activities of educational institutions. An analysis of the integration of sustainable development goals into management is presented, along with an overview of the main challenges and opportunities. The second part describes the research methodology and organization. The third part, based on a qualitative study and the evaluation of respondents and experts’ opinions, identifies that strategy development, effective resource allocation, and the formation of institutional culture are essential management decisions ensuring long-term impact. Leadership by managers, fostering partnerships, and innovative solutions—such as the application of technology or creative teaching methods—help successfully implement sustainable development goals. Properly made management decisions enable preschool institutions to become leaders in sustainable development, shaping responsible and socially conscious future generations.
