Abstract [eng] |
This master's thesis examines the process of quality assessment in preschool institutions in Lithuania, aiming to understand and address the challenges associated with its organization. Based on academic sources, the study reveals that while general education schools have well-defined evaluation processes, preschools often face deficiencies in this area. The objective of the research is to theoretically and empirically investigate the effectiveness of quality assessment, identify problems, and provide recommendations for their resolution. Qualitative analysis, conducted through surveys of preschool institution leaders, identified key issues related to the complexity of the process, lack of flexibility, and insufficient use of technology. The novelty and significance of the work are reflected in the less-explored topic and practical recommendations offered. The strengths of the evaluation process include community strengthening and strategic planning, but it is essential to improve process simplification, technology utilization, and internal assessment. |
