Abstract [eng] This paper examines mobile application’s usability with the aim of creating usability design model for mobile applications, which is designed for mobile applications developers. Literature about usability guidelines of different categories mobile applications, common usability guidelines and location-based advertising was analyzed. Literature analysis showed that there are no summarized usability guidelines for mobile application development and that guidelines are repeated through different categories of mobile applications. So, usability design method for mobile applications was created and it was categorized according to Dix et al. usability design rules. In addition, recommendations for created method usage were written. With this method you can create mobile application, which would be user-friendly and easy to use. Method was tested with two apps: “Pokémon go”, which got the best app of the year award, and “Tinder”, which got several awards for best user experience. During the test both applications were evaluated. Applications passed the evaluation, because the majority of method guidelines were implemented in both applications.
