Abstract [eng] Music Therapy Influence on Communication at Families with Cerebral Pulsy Child SUMMARY Actuality and problems of the topic. Family is integral social psychological formation, found by particular people interaction, possibility to meet somebodies needs. By seeking to give a support it is important to integrate all family members. Respect and tolerance, reciprocal attention and support enable harmonious interaction between family members. It also helps create healthy internecine relationships. In Lithuania social services offers support and assistance to the families with cerebral pulsy children. But psychological support network is not developed enough (Ruškus, 2002). Disabled people rights convention states the rights of disabled peoples and their families to receive comprehensive information, special service and support (NTK, 2009, 23.3). Music therapy can by valuable part of a complex service and can positively influence family relationships and communication. The hypothesis: Music therapy positively influence communication at families with cerebral pulsy children. The goal of this investigation was to determine music therapy influence on communication at families with cerebral pulsy children. Methodology Methodology of theoretical research are based on the humanistic point of view at the family (Boulbi 2005, Brisch 2015, Alm and Molander 1999, Ruškus 2002), family therapy and music therapy application actuality by working with families (Winnicott 2008, Howe 2008, Oldfield 2006, Salkeld 2008, Bull 2008, Šinkūnienė 2012). Methods Theoretical: psychological, philosophical, sociological, music therapy, pedagogical literature review. Analitical methods: research results review, analysis, generalization. Empirical: 1) Initiate conversation data; 2) Case study; 3) Reflection data from music therapy sessions; 4) Questionnaire data; 5) Analysis of observing. Original music therapy method for families with cerebral pulsy child was proved during research practice. Data analysis helped to evaluate availability of music therapy method, it‘s influence on communication at families with cerebral pulsy child. 1. Theoretical research statements. Strengthening or parent – child emocionali bond and communication is important for families with cerebral pulsy children internecine relationships, mental health and better quality of life. 2. Music therapy for families helps to strengthen parents and children emotional bond, interaction and communication; gives new insight on their relationships, enable positive minds about the child. by using. 3. Practical research statements. Original music therapy method for families with cerebral pulsy child, that was proved during research time, reveal positive influence on parent – child emotional bind, child development and communication abilities. 4. Parens, that participated in music therapy sessions prooved, that music activities provoke parents and children emotional exchange and interaction, provide meaningfull and supportive experience. 5. Hypothesis is prooved. Parents, that took part in the sessions together with their children prooved influence of music therapy on parent – child emotional bond, child development and communication abilities.
