This Master's thesis will deal with the issues related to the limitation of litigation costs in civil proceedings: it will define the limitation of litigation costs and the limitation of one of the types of litigation costs, i.e., the limitation of the costs for the assistance of an advocate and an advocate's assistant in Lithuanian law and in the law of foreign countries, as well as the purposes of the determination of these limits. The limitation of litigation costs is also analysed in the context of full compensation of damages, the right to a fair trial and other legal principles. |
