Research on psychosocial risk factors is increasing in Lithuania, but no research has been conducted on translators and their work. Therefore, the aim of this study is to assess the acceptability of psychosocial risk factors for Lithuanian court interpreters and translators, taking into account clearly defined criteria. To achieve this goal, the objectives are to discuss the information on psychosocial risk factors and the methodology for assessing their acceptability presented in the scientific literature, to select a tool that will be suitable for the desired research, to conduct a survey of Lithuanian court interpreters and to assess the acceptability of psychosocial risk factors by analysing the results obtained. The methods used to carry out the research task are descriptive, quantitative and qualitative methods. The thesis consists of theoretical and exploratory parts. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters in which the information about psychosocial risk factors and the research carried out abroad and the tools used to conduct it is discussed. The exploratory part includes the description of the research methodology, the respondents and the analysis of the results. The paper ends with conclusions. |
