Abstract [eng] The Impact of the Educator on the Leadership Development of 5th–8th Grade Students in Music Classes is the topic of this master's thesis, which is of particular importance in the context of modern, inclusive, paradigm-based education. The development of leadership qualities among young people in music lessons is a very important factor in ensuring that the pupil not only learns music or any other art during the lesson but also grows as a strong personality. In adolescence, pupils are confronted with significant challenges, often beyond their control, and the development of leadership skills in early and middle adolescence is therefore fundamental. Personal values, social skills and self-esteem are things that every adolescent is confronted with, which is why leadership education in non-formal education, i.e. in music and art schools, is an excellent medium for developing leadership skills. The aim of the master's thesis is to reveal the teachers' views on the influence of the teacher on the formation of leadership in music lessons for pupils in grades 5–8, by examining in detail the pedagogical methods, the pupils' socio-emotional competences, as well as the role of the music teachers in this process. To achieve this goal, a qualitative study was conducted with the participation of 8 music and art school teachers from Klaipėda and Telšiai regions. The research included analysis of theoretical literature, review of empirical data and practical methods in order to identify the most effective methods of leadership development in music lessons. The main research questions are the choice and application of methods, leadership development in adolescence, students' cultural literacy, the relationship between musical activities and the role of the music teacher.
