Abstract [eng] The best place to hear a live band, to experience different emotions, to see something new, is an event. Events are not born easily, it takes a lot of work, a lot of desire and a lot of love to create an event. This is how events are organised in school. They try to make them comfortable, fun and emotionally touching for everyone who attends. The aim of the Master's thesis is to investigate the possibilities of organising events in a school of general education. The aims of the thesis are: to define the concept of an event, to discuss how events are organised, to discuss the requirements for sound equipment in organising events in school and to conduct a qualitative study to explore teachers' attitudes towards the possibility of organising events in a mainstream education school. The object of the study is the specificities of organising events in a general education school. The work was carried out by analysing the scientific literature, articles and studies by Lithuanian and foreign authors, as well as national documents. The analysis of the scientific literature has led to the following conclusions: the school organises protmūšės, discos, competitions, concerts, etc. Students need events to grow up in a cultural environment, to experience positive emotions, to spend their leisure time in a useful way and at the same time to develop. Schools do not create posts for an event organiser. This function is distributed among several people. In most cases, cultural events in the school are organised by a team (music teacher, art teacher, school council). For school events, two loudspeakers, a sound desk, microphones that work and reproduce voice quality, switching cables and a computer are usually sufficient. A small amount of audio equipment is also needed to create a suitable sound background for a simple brainstorm or conference.
