Abstract [eng] The work analyzes theoretical relationship between development and physical activity in developing physical activity of children with special educational needs. The hypothesis of this work was that the content of the activities organized by teachers promotes physical activity of children with special needs. The research was made with a questionnaire survey method, which purpose was to analyze physical activity of pre-school children with special educational needs promoting pedagogue's activities. Statistical analysis of empirical data was performed (descriptive analysis of frequency, percent, χ2 test, u criterion). The study involved 102 teachers working in Pasvalys, Šiauliai and Šiauliai district pre-school education institutions. 51 parents / guardians were interviewed, whose children were identified with special education needs. The study took place in September – November of year 2017. The researchers were chosen through convenient targeted screening. The empirical part examines teacher activities that promote the physical activity of pre-school children with special education needs. The main conclusions of the empirical study were: 1. An analysis of the survey data revealed that respondents with shorter work experience compared to those with a longer work experience find it very difficult to adapt children with special education needs to communicate with other children. Respondents with higher education are statistically significantly more likely than respondents with higher education to indicate that the adaptation is aggravated by an unapplied environment. 2. The study found that teachers more than parents consider that team sports are the best sports to promote physical activity. Statistically significant number of parents who are raising boys think that basketball races their child's physical activity. 3. Parents more than teachers points out dancing as a supplementary activity. According to parents, dance lessons should be additionally arranged in kindergarten. 4. The hypothesis emerged at the beginning of the study was proved right. The content of the activities organized by teachers promote physical activity of children with special education needs.
