Abstract [eng] The global climate change, the economical, technological and social changes make the mankind think of the consumption, lifestyle habits and survival of the planet. The research showed that the social responsibility is the dimension of society's development which is expressed through the values of public institutions, organizations, business enterprises and society’s relationship. The assessment of social responsibility and evaluation models differ in all countries. It is not compulsory only recommendatory or consultative. Every country individually adjust the evaluation indicators according to its problems and relevant ranges. The counries carrying out the assessment of social responsibility watch the development of their position in the worldwide index account and take actions to improve the responsibility status of the country. The model of PLLC “Kvalitetas” was used in the thesis in order to assess the social responsibility of the country. The poverty indicator and general CO2 dimension was added. The evaluation indicators of 2012-2016 were compared. The results of the research were analyzed according to the three aspects: neutral, positive and negative. After the evaluation of social responsibility in Lithuania, the biggest reverse appeared in environmental range and the improving situation in civil society and laboring sphere. The general assessment of social responsibility in Lithuania is negative. 13 indicators of 23 or 56, 6 % show unchanged or reduced context. The improving indicators make 43, 5% of all indicators.
