The Master's thesis analyses the expression and improvement of the quality of youth non-formal education in developing general and professional competences. Non-formal education is an integral and continuing part of education. It aims to form the personality through the development of competencies. Non-formal education exists in parallel with formal education, which is aimed at promoting the innate strengths of children and young people of all ages, revealing various skills, inclinations, promoting creativity, cultural values, health efforts, and crime prevention in educational institutions (Miliūnienė, Vaitkevičius, Bakanovienė, Mockevičienė, 2009). The emphasis on the quality of non-formal education in vocational education schools is not separated and evaluated in the same way as non-formal education in general education schools, without emphasizing better possibilities for the development of professional competences.
