Software Process Agility Assessment Software process is important discipline which often is a key to the success of project or entire company on the market. Agile software development methods became very popular across the market. Companies often experience difficulties practically adopting agile methodologies and understanding their agility Various process assessment models, which are often based on a standardized structure, are used to evaluate software process. In this work, a new model for assessing software process agility is created, model structured with continuous representation and based on ISO/IEC 33000 standards. In context of model agility is understood as the ability to minimize the period of the unvalidated inventory state. This characteristic of process can be evaluated and show ability to create value for the end user or customer as early as possible. A new model was validated by making assessment in four companies and conducting an expert survey. Results of the assessment are compared to the results of already existing model. |
