Abstract [eng] Inhibitory Control Interactions with Emotion and Behavioral Disorders in Primary School Children with and Without Learning Disabilities The aim of the research is to determine a relationship between inhibitory control and emotional regulation and behavioural problems of primary school children with special educational needs. The study explores the peculiarities of inhibitory control and behavioral and emotional problems of children with special educational needs. 49 children that participated were between the ages of 8 and 11, 24 of them were females and 25 were males, 14 of them were children with special educational needs – 2 girls and 12 boys. Participants have been diagnosed having special educational needs and other problems by Vilnius, Šiauliai, Plungė Psychological and Pedagogical Service. The research was based on different assessment tools: participants did two inhibitory control tests, teachers were given Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ), parents were given Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL 6/18) and sociodemographic survey. The results of inhibitory control tests and the results of teacher - parent assessment were compared with groups of children with and without special educational needs.
