Abstract [eng] Lists of words used by language learners do not allow to evaluate their lexico-grammatical competence. The analysis of such text organisation elements as word groups and their components offers more possibilities to evaluate learners’ ability to use words consistently in a text. Empirical research based on data from the annotated learner corpus identifies learners’ preferences for the chosen topic.
