Abstract [eng] This thesis designs and implements a high-definition real-time video wireless transmission system based on the W-band (75–110 GHz) and conducts system-level experimental verification. The system employs an HDMI-SDI converter to achieve stable 3G-SDI video input and utilizes a mixer structure combined with a W-band x6 frequency multiplier to achieve transmission in the W-band. By constructing both cable-connected and wireless experimental links, the system's RF front-end, frequency conversion performance, and signal integrity were verified. Experimental results show that the system can achieve stable real-time high-definition uncompressed video transmission, exhibiting good signal consistency in the cable link and maintaining sufficient eye diagram opening and timing margin in the wireless link, achieving reliable video recovery. In summary, this work verifies the feasibility of W-band wireless high-definition video transmission and provides an experimental foundation for the optimization of future high data rate millimeter-wave communication systems.
