Abstract [eng] This master’s thesis examines reformative measures in criminal justice and their role in supporting young people in changing their behaviour and successfully integrating into society. The study shows that these measures are not intended to punish, but are primarily focused on education, the development of responsibility, and the prevention of reoffending. The research analyses the legal regulation of reformative measures in Lithuania, their conditions of application, and practical implementation, drawing on court decisions, statistical data, and international criminal justice standards. It has been found that reformative measures are effective when they are individually tailored and properly implemented in practice, however, inconsistencies in their application and practical implementation challenges still occur. It can therefore be concluded that reformative measures are an important part of juvenile criminal justice, allowing for a balance between the interests of the juvenile, public safety, and preventive objectives, while their effectiveness depends on consistent and responsible application in practice.
