The results of the study of variations of total-to-selective extinction R-V near the Galactic plane (-12degrees less than or equal to b less than or equal to +12degrees) are presented. It is shown that variations of R-V range from 1.9 to 3.4 and it is not possible to determine its typical value for the Galaxy. The conclusion that variations of the parameter R-V closely correlates with the distribution of interstellar extinction is confirmed. |
