The city of Šiauliai has Lake Talkša, which is located near the city center. This place is very attractive for city guests and residents. There is a need to install and redesign the lake embankment, create new recreation areas that will encourage people to spend their free time well, and it would benefit everyone: athletes, children and seniors. That is why a project of this scope is needed, one that would restore the embankment that would decorate and represent the city of Šiauliai, because the image that is now is not very beautiful and aesthetic, does not reflect the face of the city. The Project of Recreation Areas at Lake Talkša will reflect a modern and sophisticated location in Šiauliai. The project is dominated by a wide range of activities: to be able to enjoy oneself in water and on the shore, admire nature, exercise, play with children, snack in a cozy outdoor café, listen to mini concerts, dance, or rent water equipment. A large part of the recreation area complex is designed on the water, and a large area of water is used. The complex is divided into 7 areas: central, sports, children's games, entertainment, recreation, dance and marina. The areas are divided into two parts - located on the water and located on the shore. They are separated by a marina with a pathway. The recreation area near Lake Talkša has been designed with universal equipment as it is suitable for public spaces, resistant to weather or vandalism. The main accents that adorn this complex are water fountains.The theme of the thesis is \"Recreation Areas at Lake Talkša Project\". The aim of the thesis is to create a universal area that would stimulate the active free time of the population and provide the necessary place for recreation and entertainment. The tasks of the thesis - The area to be created must meet all requirements and meet people's needs, be exclusive in design and attractive. Used methods - coastal area analysis, environmental photography and assessment, blueprint design. Researches, works and results carried out - urban analysis of Lake Talkša, analysis of contiguities, analysis of existing buildings and structures, analysis of greenery, analysis of prototypes, site analysis, visualizations, video project, and drawings. The result is in the course of this work. Conclusion - The shore of Lake Talkša needs to be renewed, giving it a new status - recreational activities and sports facilities. This requires such projects. |
