Abstract [eng] Dissemination and Perception of the Ideas of an Interactive Museum: the Case of the Centre for Civil Education The thesis analyzes impressions of visitors of the Centre for Civil Education and investigates the dissemination and perception of the ideas of the interactive museum which expositions are based on new media. Based on theoretical assumptions that discuss the features of new media and their potential effect on users, a hypothesis is formulated and tested. The hypothesis of this paper considers, that the museum‘s form of exposition, which is based on new media, will affect the way users understand the information provided by the Centre. It is considered that more active media users will have a greater variety of views, their interpretations will differ from the ideas of the creators more. The paper presents a brief overview of the media's ability to communicate the past and the present, the features and functions of modern museums. The thesis also discusses the concept of new media and the principles of their functioning. The research analyzes respondents' survey data. The understanding of the message provided by the Centre for Civil Education is observed in the empirical part of the research. Respondents were divided into those who used the media passively and those who used the media actively in the Centre for Civil Education. The conclusions about the effect of the mediated forms of exposition on the understanding of the information provided by them are made. The answer to the hypothesis of the research is formulated, as well as the results of the analysis of the perception of separate ideas disseminated by the Centre for Civil Education and the study of the factors that may affect these results are presented.
