Abstract [eng] Employee Involvement in Decision-Making by the Employer After WW2 the new era of Employment Law began, and along with it the development of employee involvement in an employer’s decision making processes. Employees’ involvement in decision making is particularly significant for protection of employees’ rights, by giving them a chance to influence decisions that affect them in one way or another. Taking that into account, this master thesis analyses forms of employee participation in decision making, cases of application for these forms and procedures that are required according by EU and national legislation and insights of the courts. Therefore, this master thesis comprises of three main parts. The first part of the master thesis discusses the concept of an employee’s involvement in the decision making process and its development through the decades. The second part addresses an employee’s involvement in the decision making forms – information and consultation. An in-depth analysis of these forms for EU and national law will be compared together with a discussion on the essence of these forms, cases wheren these forms have to be applied and the procedures of applying it. The third part of the thesis is about the other forms of employee involvement – participation under EU regulations and participation under Employment Law. It should be noted, that in this master thesis along with forms of the employees involvement in the employers decision making processes, the rules of law of the new draft of Labor Code are being discussed and an evaluation of positive and negative observations given.
