Abstract [eng] Individuals who have experienced persecutory delusions face various difficulties in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships. The aim of this study is to reveal social relationships of those experiencing persecutory delusions. Total sample comprised of 6 individuals (2 women and 4 men). Age ranged from 20 to 48 years (M = 32). All participants had a diagnosis of psychosis and do not maintain long-term relationships. Thematic analysis according to Braun and Clarke (2006) was chosen in order to conduct the study. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews. Based on the analysis of the results, 6 unique themes were identified: underestimating self-perception in relation to others, hostile perception of others in the relation of self, internal emotion chaos, traumatic experiences as the basis of difficult current situation, explanation of the complicated relationship based on disease, efforts to change the current situation. This study may deepen our understanding of the perception of the relationships of people who have experienced persecutory delusions and it may help to develop an open and trustful relationships.
