The master's thesis analyzes shared leadership improving quality of school activity. The aim of the thesis is to determine the impact of shared leadership on improving quality of school activity. To achieve this aim, the following tasks are formulated: 1. Reveal the intersections of leadership and leadership in a modern organization. 2. Analyze the characteristics of shared leadership in education. 3. Identify factors for improving the quality of education. 4. Explore the links between shared leadership and quality of school activity. Object of work: shared leadership as a factor for improving the quality of school activities. Research methods: scientific literature, document analysis, semi-structured interview, written questionnaire. Master's thesis consists of introduction, theoretical, methodological and empirical part, conclusions and recommendations. The work uses 107 a source of which 22 a foreign language. Includes 11 attachments. The theoretical part reveales the concept of shared leadership, the conditions, directions and dimensions of expression. It also analyzes the differences between leadership and features of leadership leaders and teacher leaders, and their influence on community members. The theoretical part of the work discusses the concept of school quality, analyzes the areas of education quality, discusses the concept of a good school and the methodology of self-assessment of schools. Based on the results of the scientific literature analysis, it is concluded that shared leadership influences the quality of school management. To achieve the goals set by the school and to ensure the quality of school activities, shared leadership should involve every member of the school community in this process. The methodological part of the thesis presents empirical research methodology: methodological research provisions, research strategy and justification of choice of research instruments. The aim of the empirical research is to identify the links between shared leadership and the quality of school activities in Pasvalys Basic School. Qualitative and quantitative research methods were chosen to achieve this goal. This section provides the test field and sample characteristics and research ethics. The empirical part of the thesis presents the results of qualitative and quantitative research data analysis. This section presents the results of document analysis, semi-structured interview with the head of the school and the content of the questionnaire survey. The study showed that the leaders of Pasvalys basic school community working in teams and pursuing a common goal create a climate favorable to change. It enables self-expression of shared leadership and creates preconditions for improving the quality of school activities. The expression of shared leadership has a positive impact on the processes of improving the quality of education and activities. At the end of the work, conclusions and recommendations on how to promote shared leadership at school are provided to help improve the quality of school activities. It is suggested that as many community members as possible be involved in school management processes. This would encourage the discovery of the leadership qualities of community members and take responsibility for the quality of school activities. |
