The article presents the analysis of impact of sustainable development to the right to information. By asserting that the purposefulness of the development of the society increases various expressions of human rights, stimulates the expansion of the content of human rights, the expansion of the content of the right to information is analysed. Theme of environment was early overvalued in sustainable development and in the content the right to information the themes of environment was early excluded. With the base of international, Eeuropean Uunion and national (Llithuanian) law analysis, the author makes conclusion, that the system of the realisation of the right to environmental information is being created. The base of this system is international order of the advising of environmental information. The system of the national (right to environmental information assurance also is based on international and Eeuropean Uunion standards. In the article is noticing that the advising of the environmental information to public is ensured with two ways: by regulating the right of public to participate an environmental impact assessment procedure and ensuring the right of public to environmental information, which is accumulated by the governmental institutions. The right to environmental information is recognised to public, i.e. that it recognised to each man without any stipulations or demands. The subjects of the advising of the environmental information are the institution of the state’s government and subjects, which are planning corresponding economic activities whit environmental impact. These subjects advice environmental information to public only in the form, which is to ascertained to the participating in the environmental impact assessment procedure. The investigation of the Lithuania situation allows noticing, that the advising of the environmental information for a public with indication of governmental institutions is transferred to subjects, which are planning corresponding economic activities whit environmental impact. |
