The interior design is based on a random, pre-existing cafe plan. This cafe is located at the intersection of Waverly and 13th Streets in Philadelphia, USA. Around area where the restaurant is standing is a big population of people. So, the rhythm of life is fast. Sandwiches and other kinds of fast, unhealthy food are especially popular in this city. In search of an idea for a new restaurant image was function of healthy food restaurant where you can not only eat healthy, but also to buy some food to take away. The purpose of the restaurant - shop is for people who doing sport or want to eat more healthy. After choosing the restaurant - shop function, we had to solve the zoning problem, look for the right equipment and textures. The restaurant consist of two areas: first one is standing near to the shop, which have bar, tall table, chairs and sofa‘s, second area is in a place of terrace and have armchairs, small coffee table‘s and fireplace. After analyzing similar types of restaurants, was create an innovative, modern design which also has an industrial design. The main emphasis is simplicity. The interior is rich of natural materials such as: wood, concrete, bricks. Plants give vitality for the interior. The charm comes from the antique pattern tiles, rough stucco, velvet sofa‘s, armchairs and small decorations. The industrial design image is complemented by a variety of bicycle details that also serve as a decoration function. |
