The method of questionnaire survey was chosen for the research. The most important empirical conclusions. The study revealed that there is no consensus among members of the school community about school rankings and the factors that influence the achievement of higher educational outcomes. The ranking is identified as an important criterion, but not essential when choosing a school for students or parents. Many educators see the ranking of general education schools as a useful criterion that is needed by the whole school community. It provides information on the quality of school performance, which also partly reflects the current state of school performance. The vast majority of managers are interested in published rankings and aim to improve the quality of school education. In terms of importance, they distinguish the professionalism of teachers, which is an integral factor in achieving high grades and results in the ranking of the country's schools. According to students, a school that ranks higher can provide students with more opportunities, motivation, and higher achievement because the best educators work at that school. A small proportion of parents follow the published rankings of general education schools when choosing a school, while the rest of the parents state that they follow the recommendations of friends and relatives. The hypothesis was confirmed. Members of the general education school community have different assessments of school rankings. Heads and educators attach the greatest importance to the improvement of the quality of school activities, but the ranking itself and its criteria are evaluated critically. Parents and students are only interested in ranking when choosing or changing a general education school.
