Abstract [eng] Positive social interaction modelling through changing the attitude of schools community are not fully analysed theme, because many of the authors concentrated more on the pupils and educators cooperation as a system rather than a factor which forms the positive social interaction. Changing school community approach to social pedagogue it is possible to form positive social interaction. The theme of the present paper - positive social interaction modelling while investigating gymnasium community approach to social educators’ professional activity. The goal – to analyse the properties and possibilities of the positive social interaction modelling by investigating the gymnasium community approach to social pedagogue professional activity. Research methods: scientific literature and legal acts content analysis, a questionnaire survey of teachers and pupils, quantitative and qualitative analysis of the data. In this study 95 teachers and 113 pupils participated. Respondents are from Rokiškis and Šiauliai gymnasium. The survey of pupils and teachers reveals that the hypothesis is confirmed: the social interaction positiveness between the social pedagogue and the individual gymnasium community groups is affected by the attitude of gymnasium community to social educators’ activity. By changing this approach the social interaction can be more positive. Most of all gymnasium teachers seek for the cooperation of all school community, but the negative attitude to social pedagogue forms businesslike, organized often initiated by the administration cooperation but rather than the try to create positive social interaction. The investigation data revealed the main factors which determine negative pupils and teachers attitude to the professional activity of the social educator.
