Abstract [eng] The society is continuously changing. Different aspects of life change, including delinquency and education. These two fields are closely related. Children spend most of their time at schools. Schools are specific institutions that establish their own rules, which must be followed. Breach of these rules is considered to be a delinquent act and the person who breaches these rules is considered to be a delinquent. In the 7th decade of the 20th century, a new critical criminology school was developed, stressing not the behavior itself but criminal definitions and their origins, application. One of the most prominent representatives of critical criminology - R. Quinney - developed the theory of social reality of crime; in this theory, he complexly studied deviation in the frames of the new perspective. This theory is extremely applicable for researching delinquency at schools, since it emphasises power, rules, closely related to the internal rules of schools and delinquency bei delinquents in schools. However, a school is not a static institution, it is going through constant changes. During the past few decades, Lithuanian education system has undergone specific changes too and is being transformed into a quasi – market. These changes were stimulated by the installation of the new public market principles – competition, orientation to the results, etc. All these factors have changed the schools work too, including the internal rules. Empirical study revealed that even though new internal rules are being installed at schools, this process is a very formal one and the new school model determines that rules are not applied and the models of behavior are not developed. Thus, it can be stated that deconstration of delinqunet is taking place at schools.
