Abstract [eng] |
When developing intercultural competence a teaching/learning process must be based on constructivist paradigm and experiential learning strategy oriented to the development of knowledge, skills, and attitudes and to the use of prior knowledge within learning process by creating real orsimulated intercultural situations must be applied. One of the most efficient intercultural learning methods is experiential learning in a different cultural context. Such learning is the closest to real intercultural clash situations and problems, therefore these conditions are likely to result in development of skills, application of knowledge, and emotional reactions in the real context. The research participants revealed peculiarities of practice of experiential learning in a different cultural context for development of intercultural competence. The aim of this article is to reveal peculiarities of practices of experiential learning in a different cultural context by presenting research results. |
