Abstract [eng] The article discusses the concept of ethnography in the perspective of modern and postmodern anthropology. In the recent years the literature on ethnography has been enriched by a growing corpus of reflections on the rhetoric of ethnographic accounts. "Rhetorical turn" among ethnographers is part of a much broader movement of scholarship toward an interest in the rhetoric of inquiry that has manifested in many human and social disciplines. The watershed in the critical awareness of ethnographic textuality was the "Writing Culture", a highly influential collection of papers edited by Clifford and Marcus (1986). The papers emphasize the complex interplay of literary and rhetorical, historical, and ideological influences on the production and reception of anthropological ethnographies. The possibilities of postmodern ethnography which imply analysing alternative ethnography as a concept of creativity, suggesting that ethnography is a narrative through a subjective discourse, are discussed. This paper focuses on the methods of experimental writing, the procedures of construction of ethnographic knowledge, and the relationship between creativity and scientific character.
