Objective of the study - to investigate the causes of pollution of the river Muša, made the tributaries of the water samples for control tests, identify the most polluting a river areas. The study - April 2011, were collected water samples from the Musa River and its influent and to the highest pollution affecting the rivers. It was found that Musa and its tributaries, water pollution by nitrates exceeded the MRL 3-6 times. Most nitrates is determined at the estuary of the Kruoja. In the river Kulpe and Lėvuo in river estuaries nitrites exceeds the MRL. Lėvuo in the river is the the highest concentration of phosphorus. This is associated with intensive agriculture and dense settlements nets. The Musa river and its tributaries is characterized by pollution with organic materials. The main rivers of water pollution with organic matter and biogenic of from agricultural areas and urban waste water. The Musa river most polluted - Kulpa and Lėvuo affluents. |
