Abstract [eng] The article deals with process of education of bilingual and multilingual children. The aim of the article is to investigate education opportunities for bilingual and multilingual children within multicultural aspects. A qualitative research has been carried out. All the data collected during partially formal observation, partially structured interview, also data of interviews and observations have been analysed using content analysis method. There were 7 teachers and 3 parents of bilingual and multilingual children, 3 schoolchildren and 6 their classmates involved in the research. Based on the observations carried out and the scientific information, also information coming from interviews with teachers, specialists, schoolchildren and their classmates model of education process of bilingual and multilingual children within multicultural topic has been developed and implemented. Following the summarised information of observation and summarised interviews with educators, specialists, learners, and their schoolmates it was disclosed that education of bilingual and multilingual children is very challenging for teachers and specialists. While performing analysis of experience of teachers and specialists in education of bilingual/multilingual learners it was stated: educators communicate to girls X and Y in Lithuanian and in non-verbal way of communication including gesticulation, mime, showing symbols and signs to boy Z was used; following the information received from educators and specialists, girls X and Y are not outcast, both have friends and it was more difficult for boy Z to adapt himself in the group of schoolmates because he cannot speak Lithuanian at all. Girl Y, states that she still has some difficulties in understanding teacher and friends. [...].
