Abstract [eng] |
The name of a photographic cycle “Sisters” reveals not the “family relations, but rather the surroundings, interests and other factors that formulate the closeness that women share” (Ruškienė, 2008). This cycle looks at inner settings of a woman, at her experience, which is being revealed through characters correspondence with past memories, also conversations with oneself and confrontation with time. Time, which is being subjectively encountered not only via a woman’s senses, but also philosophically in the tracts of time and space. In short, when looking at the photographical cycle from a space and time perspective as a clause of grasp, a female depth of creativity is being measured. The time of fixation / photography is not only the time when. |
