This research sought the opinions and experiences, of pedagogues and specialists (N = 1518), who provide pedagogical and special pedagogical support to children who have special needs, and was carried out with the intention to reveal educational models appropriate to students with special educational needs in Lithuania. The article presents the results of a survey of the practice of such pedagogues’, and reveals the social and educational characteristics of different educational models, implemented through different forms of education (total integration/inclusion, partial integration, education at special school and home education). |
