Abstract [eng] The growing demand for recreation in countryside homesteads and the growing number of countryside homestea ds promote the growth of service quality as well as competition. The attention given to farm tourism image development and improvement is increasing; it especially shows when analyzing the image of farm tourism on websites. Naturally, the image formation on websites is essential for further development of farm tourism busin esses. The aim of the article is to identify the current situation of imagemaking of farmsteads on websites. To achieve this aim, the importance of imagemaking of farmstea ds on websites was analyzed in a theoretical aspect, a survey of the Internet users was conducted and websites of farmsteads were evaluated according to the website evaluation methodology. Resea rch methodology. With a view to find out the opinion of the customers about websites of farmsteads, a questionnaire survey was carried out. The questionnaire con­sisted of three parts: instructional, demographic, and diagn ostic. The instructional part was intended to familiarize the respondent with the topic under investigation, and to describe how to fill in the questionnaire. In the demographic part of the questionnaire were presented questions aimed at finding out the demographic characteristics of the respondents: gender, age, education, place of residence. The diagnostic part of the questionnaire was dedicated to clarifying the respondents’ evalua­ion of image of farmsteads. [...].
