Abstract [eng] |
The article deals with results of propaedeutic research on virtual visual aid (VTO). It shows that suffi cient quantities of didactic material, computer hardware and software and other ICT and material sources are accumulated in the microsocium of Lithuanian primary and basic schools. On the base of this it is possible to create a rather accessible and reliable VVA for teaching arithmetical operations in practical work of teachers as well as pupils. The positive attitude to VVA as a means for teaching arithmetical operations is due to several reasons: the possibility to observe the surrounding environment in the process of movement and change; the possibility to solve the algorithms of arithmetical operations on one’s own; the methods being used by the teachers, which make individual and common activities of the pupils more active. Any problem solved with the help of animated and sounded characters increases the interest in the teaching subject and intensifi es the process of teaching. Not only special skills are being developed but also all-round personality of a pupil is being formed while developing arithmetical skills in primary and basic school. |
