The paper analyses the specificity of the social skills of teenagers with moderate learning difficulties. 39 parents of children between 13 and 17 p articipated in the research. A content analysis of the data collected by the method of the interview is presented. Parents’ experiences, the style of upbringing at home and communication with one’ s child are analysed; it is revealed how parents realise and assess their children’s interaction, linguistic and social communication, expression of emotions, and problem solving skills in the informal environment. |
