Abstract [eng] The article presents the analysis of concept of mutually shared team competence with reference to levels of teamwork competences, directions of teamwork development, and also shared understanding among team members, meeting special needs of a child and a family in team. The following problem questions are dealt with in the article: What are the criteria to define concept of competence? What is the theoretical background of teamwork competence? What circumstances determine the development of mutually shared competence? What teamwork competences are most important according to professionals meeting special needs of children? The concept of mutually shared team competence has been chosen as the research subject, having the aim to present theoretical model of mutually shared team competence concept. The authors of the article planned the research objectives as: 1.To analyze criteria of competence definition. 2.To present the conception and the content of mutually shared team competence. 3.To distinguish circumstances of effective teamwork and mutually shared team competence development. 4.To analyze the opinion of professionals about the main teamwork competences they need in meeting special needs of children. The method of analysis of scholarly literature and the content analysis of survey were chosen in order to find out professionals’ opinion about competences necessary in early childhood intervention services/ teams. The analysis of research results enables to conclude: Competence is defined as improving practical activity, which determines the successful result of work in particular professional context and enables specialists to act in unexpected complicated situations. When defining competence it is important to reveal understanding of the concept that reveals its structure and content. According to the approach of constr uctivism, competence definition is based on mutually shared understanding and goals of specialists who apply it, and context.[...].
