Abstract [eng] The analysis of scientific information sources shows that the world is not restricted to currently used teaching/ learning means or already known education technologies. The latest scientific researches illustrate that alongside traditional real and currently increasingly more widespread virtual environment mixed environment can also be used for teaching/ learning. To create the above- mentioned environment, quite new augmented reality technology, which is little known in pedagogical practice, is used. According M. Adams (2005), it is one of ten most important technologies for the mankind, which can be very useful while studying. The present research aims to find out how pupils rate experimental learning means- e-teaching/ learning platform based upon augmented reality technology in the aspect of usefulness while learning about the organs of human digestive system and digestive tract. Another aim is to determine how the use of ARTP changes pupils’ attitude towards usefulness of traditional teaching/ learning means. To achieve the aim, the questionnaire of closed type was used. During the research it was determined which traditional learning means are rated as useful ones and which as not so useful or even useless. The use of E-teaching/ learning platform based upon augmented reality technology influenced rating of some traditional teaching/ learning means in the aspect of usefulness while learning the organs of human digestive system and digestive tract. Besides, it was determined that visual teaching/ learning means (giving imagery and visualizing abstract learning material) are rated differently in the aspect of usefulness while learning the organs of human digestive system and digestive tract: dynamic audiovisual teaching/ learning means (animated film, e-teaching/ learning platform based upon augmented reality technology) are rated as useful and static visual teaching/ learning means,[...].
