Abstract [eng] |
Music is integral part of environment of a modern human, which is very rapidly changing depending on the needs of users. Visualization directs thoughts purposefully to the concentration of attention. When describing visualization in verbal words the students’ conscious perception is getting stronger, therefore what is reflected during deep concentration is being thought over. The assumption is made in this article that visualization of internal world and later verbalization of it can produce better music teaching results. This research aims to expand this research area by studying what internal states could be identified by categorizing them into certain generalities that would help to form a theory of the method. It is clear from the analyzed data that researched persons were able to experience one of two main states – harmonic or disharmonic regardless of the style of creation, its genre, tonality or atonality of composition and despite intonations and other musical aspects. Thus internal world of resp ondents could be identified as exper iencing harmonic or disharmonic state of mind. Minor categories “unclear state of mind” and “shifting state of mind” show that some students were unable to verbalize their states precisely and therefore the latter categories in this article were named in neutral way so that they would not mislead future researches. Harmonic state of mind as the whole that represents internal world is connected with positive feelings, emotions and kind experiences; it also stimulates learners to feel themselves deeper. Disharmonic state of mind, such as sudden experiencing of fear, gloom and states of chaos, in the opinion of the author of the article, could be reference to two aspects that are to be discussed: first, that listeners are still emotionally unstable and second, there might be some type of listeners whom music evokes disharmonic feelings or states. |
