The master 's thesis examines the problems of adult participation in non - formal education and the possibilities of their solution. The topic is relevant for adults who want to study and improve their qualifications, andragogues (lecturers), program providers, municipalities, employers. The aim of the work – is to study the opinion of the participants of adult non-formal education (listeners, service providers, andragogues, employers) about the problems, opportunities and satisfaction of adult learning in X municipalities and to envisage possible directions for improvement. Object of the work – Attitudes of participants of non-formal adult education (listeners, service providers, andragogues, employers) towards factors (accessibility, compatibility, promotion, needs D Working methods – Theoretical: analysis of scientific literature, analysis of documents regulating education. Empirical: survey method - questionnaire, interview. Quantitative (questionnaire) and qualitative (interview). Statistical data analysis (Excel program, 2013). Qualitative research analysis. The results of the quantitative and qualitative study show that respondents from all three groups singled out the following problems of adult participation in non-formal education: lack of learning motivation and unreasonable expectations, low program funding, search for teachers, andragogues, lecturers, time compatibility and psychological characteristics of older participants. Researchers pointed out the possibilities of solving the problems of adult participation in non-formal education: targeted allocation of funds for in-service training events, Internet accessibility for learning groups of older groups. Promoting adult learning motivation through financial opportunities, participation in projects, support for individual group initiatives. Based on the results of the research, directions for improvement are envisaged - recommendations have been prepared for the non-formal adult and youth education departments of the X Municipal Education, Science and Sports Services Center. |
