The goal of all production companies is to increase income, reduce costs, obtain higher profits and ensure high quality of products. To achieve these results, companies are forced to improve and change. With the advent of the new industry revolution, Industry 4.0, companies are beginning to digitize intensively to stay in the market. One of the solutions is to improve or modernize existing processes. This master's thesis analyzes the modernization of the VDA 4500 type container palletizing process. The analysis of the existing palletizing process has been performed, according to which the most suitable method of process modernization has been selected. Also, according to the type of container to be palletized, a prototype of a robot manipulator gripper was designed and its strength analysis was performed. The costs of the newly designed line have been calculated, and the payback period of the investment has been estimated. A virtual production line is presented, which is modeled with Delfoi Robotics Premium 4.1 program. |
