Advocate Liability for the Quality of Provided Legal Services The legal services provided by a lawyer are of general interest and necessity. Therefore, in order to properly satisfy the needs of the users of such services and the public interest in providing legal services, they must meet the quality standards set by the state legal system. Thus, in the first part of this work, the author analyses the quality assurance standards and criteria for a lawyer's legal services. In order for the state to be able to ensure the efficient and high-quality provision of legal services to individuals, regardless of the condition of their remuneration, it provides for high and extremely strict qualification and other imperative legal requirements for future lawyers. Respectively, in this work, the author presents the qualification requirements set in Lithuania and foreign countries for the above-mentioned representatives of the profession in order to reveal the specifics of the professional civil liability of a lawyer. For the state to properly implement and ensure the constitutional right of individuals to the protection and protection of the legitimate interests of an individual by providing quality legal services and proper implementation of procedural rights, the quality of which is presumed in both civil law and other spheres of law, provides for a full institute of civil liability improper implementation of the rights guaranteed to every person by the state and its laws. Thus, the author analyses all the conditions of a lawyer's civil liability, their peculiarities and their interaction with each other, analyses the lawyer's obligations arising from the contract with the client, the law and ethical norms and, depending on which duty is violated - the application of civil liability , including issues of limitation of liability, cancellation. |
